The SPV M3100 provides the latest evidence of the strong relationship Microsoft enjoys with Orange and is another great example of the innovation possible on the Windows Mobile software platform, said Marianne Röling, Regional Director, Mobile & Embedded Devices Division, Microsoft EMEA. Based on Windows Mobile 5.0, the SPV M3100 is the World s first HSDPA enabled 3G Pocket PC, which will deliver high speed internet and Direct Push email. Now, mobile users will have broadband-like speeds on their mobile phone.
As part of Orange s Signature devices for business range, the SPV M3100 has been selected against strict criteria to ensure ease of use and a sophisticated mobile experience. Key benefits of the Signature range include a customised homescreen, providing one-click access to business applications, dedicated customer support and subsidised pricing.
The SPV M3100 will be launched in a phased rollout across most of Orange s European footprint:
