For customers who have not begun travel, one change to their travel plans may be made without change fees or advance purchase requirements for the same itinerary. For a new itinerary, one change may be made without change fees. Rescheduled travel may be subject to higher fares if it does not meet original rule and booking code restrictions or is a new itinerary.
All changes must be made by midnight of the customer s original travel date. Rescheduled travel must take place by Sept. 1. Customers may make these changes by calling United reservations at 1-800-UNITED-1 or their travel agency. If a flight has been canceled, customers should call United at 1-800-UNITED-1, their travel agency, or use an EasyCheck-in kiosk to rebook their flight. United will continue to monitor the situation and adjust ticketing policies as necessary.
United will continue to update united.com with travel information as it becomes available. Customers may also take advantage of United s Easy Update service, which automatically provides flight status notifications via e-mail, mobile phone or pager.
