First phase of ticket sales from 5 to 20 August on FIFA.com

FIFA announced in Tokyo today (27 July 2006) that the first phase of ticket sales for the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2006 will kick off on 5 August exclusively on FIFA.com. This first phase will conclude on 20 August.

Complete details on this phase of international and domestic ticket sales, the official match schedule, updates on the AFC, CAF and CONMEBOL competitions and more can be found on the competition page on FIFA.com.

---- do not remove it is spacer ---- This edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled from 10 to 17 December 2006, will take place in the Japanese cities of Toyota, Tokyo and Yokohama and will feature Club América of Mexico (CONCACAF Champions’ Cup winner), Auckland City FC of New Zealand (OFC Club Championship winner), FC Barcelona of Spain (UEFA Champions League winner) as well as the winners of this year’s AFC Champions League, CAF Champions League and CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores (to be determined later this year).
