Siemens Business Services has won an order to provide support for the data centers of the large Swiss bank UBS AG. The contract is set to run for several years and has a TCO in the double-digit euro range. With this contract, UBS is looking to reduce its
On behalf of UBS in Switzerland, Siemens Business Services will be responsible for 8,500 Unix and Wintel servers, and its tasks will include providing software updates, ensuring stable operation and optimizing the server infrastructure.
