| date: May 24th 2006 10:46 page: 1 | 2 | 3
“Zero Click” access to current affairs, sports, entertainment and other news via Motorola RAZR V3i
Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT), a global leader in wireless communications, today joined forces with CTM to introduce SCREEN3™ in Macau, the first City in Asia to launch the service. SCREEN3™ is an innovative technology solution that lets consumers get news, sports, entertainment, and other premium content and services directly from their Motorola RAZR V3i handset’s home screen without having to push any buttons or launch a browser.
Motorola’s SCREEN3™ employs a media gateway server to manage the delivery of relevant content based on the specific media channels a user subscribes to.
Additionally, the SCREEN3™ solution enlists a “smart synchronization” function that ensures only the latest, freshest content gets delivered and displayed on the device’s home screen. This in turn minimizes network traffic and thus increases consumer satisfaction.
The end result of this entire service is that users are presented seamlessly, and in a simple, organised manner, all the latest news headlines for that specific channel subscribed to.
