| | Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council & International Jewellery London Announce Unique Partnership |

The Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council and International Jewellery London (IJL) have formed a unique partnership to enforce both organisations’ commitment to the promotion of exceptional craftsmanship and design.
International Jewellery London, the UK’s premiere jewellery event, will become a Special Patron of the Goldsmiths’ Craftsmanship & Design Awards, through the creation of a special new Award commencing in 2006, for the subsequent three years.
The Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council encourages and stimulates the pursuit of excellence amongst all those engaged in jewellery, goldsmithing, silversmithing and the allied crafts. International Jewellery London is dedicated to providing the jewellery industry with an unrivalled platform from which to buy and sell, network and keep abreast of exciting and innovative trends and products. The Show, which celebrates its 50th Anniversary this September, will be in good company alongside the Principal Patrons of the Awards - The Goldsmiths’ Art Trust Fund and Cartier Ltd.
There will be a dedicated IJL Award within the Design sections of the Craftsmanship & Design Awards. The winner will be offered the exciting opportunity of having a presence at International Jewellery London. In addition, the Council will showcase their exceptional work at IJL. A photographic history of the Awards is planned for 2008 to mark the Council’s Centenary celebrations.
